With the nation’s eye fixed on the police forces throughout America, Ohio is taking a preemptive step in lobbying for stricter police requirements and improved training processes that aim to create more efficient officers that are more knowledgeable and sensitive to the members of the community they serve. Attorney General Mike DeWin made the announcement earlier this week that will up the hours needed to become a certified police officer.
